Welcome to MAUCLÈRE leather, a local Cape Cod brand that strives to create beautiful, unique, and functional leather accessories. My name is Florence Mauclere. My workshop and storefront is located at 323 Commercial street in Provincetown, Massachusetts.
My original and custom pieces have evolved through an apprenticeship with Master leather designer, Victor Powell, who’s worked with leather using long forgotten tactics for over well over fifty years.
Incorporating new materials, tools and techniques has fueled my passion to grow into a small business. I am thankful to be part of an amazing community that supports local artists and truly appreciates traditional hand-crafted goods.
We carry a gorgeous selection of custom fit cobbled leather sandals, all made from a tracing of your feet, and several different styles of custom belts. Including famous old Provincetown designs such as the rivet belts, ring belts and buckle-less belts.
